The student team of Politecnico di Torino dedicated to Driverless Competitions

ABOUT US

We are a team of engineering students from “Politecnico di Torino” working to create an electric driverless racecar and participate in international competitions.

We will compete in the Formula SAE which is the competition proposed by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and it is the best known on the international scene.

As the topic of autonomous vehicles has received increasing attention both from an academic and an industrial point of view, starting from 2017, Formula SAE has introduced a third category for autonomous vehicles capable of moving thanks to the data collected and processed by sensors and algorithms of perception, control and planning of the trajectory.

As this is the first year of activity, we will only take part in the Italian race but the goal is to participate annually in two / three races in Europe.
